Licensed Professional Counselor
Candice received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2013 from Old Dominion University, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2017 from Walden University. She has been in the mental health field since 2012 and has experience in various settings including outpatient, psychiatric hospitalizations, and community based inpatient substance abuse facilities. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Candice specializes in the treatment of co-occurring disorders (specifically substance use and mental health), addiction, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, grief, anger management, women issues, and adjustment disorders.
She utilizes an eclectic approach to therapy, which includes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, patient centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy to meet the client’s specific needs.
