Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Substance Abuse Treatment Practitioner
Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and a Master’s of Arts Degree in Professional Counseling. She specializes in working with those struggling with grief and loss/bereavement issues. These may include anticipatory grief, perinatal loss, grief support over pet loss, and grief support for children, adolescents and adults. She also specializes in working with individuals or families who recently received acute, chronic, or terminal medical diagnoses. Karen has experience dealing with clients who have anxiety, adjustment disorders, autism, ADHD, and behavioral disorders, including children/youth.
