Licensed Professional Counselor
Leah is a Licensed Professional Counselor, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She has a Master’s of Arts degree in Professional Counseling, and a Master’s of Arts degree in Urban Education Guidance and Counseling from Norfolk State University.
Leah has over 18 years of counseling experience, working with children, adolescent, and adults. Leah has worked with children in residential treatment centers and psychiatric hospitals, at-risk youth who were committed to the juvenile justice system, children at risk for out of home placement, and adults in need of mental health skill building.
Leah has supervisory experience, program coordination planning experience, experience conducting assessments, experience facilitating group counseling programs, experience mentoring youth, and experience conducting individual, couple, and family counseling.
She specializes in working with children, adolescents and young adults who struggle with behavioral problems and conduct issues.
