Seleana Satcher is originally from the Island of St. Thomas, USVI. She has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She obtained her Master of Arts in Community/Clinical Psychology at Norfolk State University (NSU) and her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at South University. She has experience working in Virginia Beach Public Schools Early Discoveries Program and proving In-Home Counseling.
Selena works with children, teens, and adults. She believes that healing is a collaborative effort that requires unconditional positive regard. Seleana cooperatively helps her clients in understanding and clarifying their goals towards treatment. She draws from a variety of methods to help in creating a more tailored and specific approach for each individual, family, or situation. Seleana considers herself to be open, warm, encouraging, direct and realistic. She describes herself as an active therapist, combining real life experience, creativity, and a sense of humor with a down to earth, realistic approach to the counseling experience.
