Anger Management Assessments & Treatment
Our office offers both court-approved programs and individual counseling for those seeking help with anger management. Anger management counseling can help those wanting help to recognize triggers and develop healthier coping strategies. Anger management teaches alternate ways of handling stressful and challenging situations in a more effective way.
Batterer's Intervention
Weekly groups are provided for men with legal charges related to intimate partner violence. Groups are provided by facilitators trained in the Duluth Model for Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs
Parenting Skills Training, Support, and Coaching
Parenting Classes are offered on a regular basis. Our classes are designed to give parent's the skills and tools needed to handle the challenges associated with parenting and/or co-parenting. Our classes help to encourage healthy relationships and nurturing the relationship that the children have with both parents.
STEP: Systematic Training for Effective Parenting classes meet weekly for six weeks.Two Parents, Two Homes: Four hour parenting classes designed to meet the court’s requirements for Co-Parenting Classes are provided at least once per month.
Substance Abuse Assessment & Treatment
If you are struggling with maintaining sobriety, Substance Abuse Counseling can offer you support to help you overcome substance dependency. We believe in your ability to achieve a fulfilling lifestyle without using drugs or alcohol. The Substance abuse counselors provide assessments, treatment planning, individual, and group counseling to adults, adolescents, and their families. VASAP services are provided by LSATPs.
Supervised Visitation and Reunification Therapy
These services ensure safe, structured interactions between children and non-custodial parents. Multiple levels of supervised visitation are offered by professionals trained by the Supervised Visitation Network. Supervised exchanges are also offered.
Mental Health and Parental Capacity Evaluations
These evaluations provide professional assessments for court or family planning purposes.
